Section 8 Company Registration is applicable for organizations established for charitable or non-profit purposes under the Companies Act, 2013. These companies are formed to promote commerce, education, art, science, sports, social welfare, religion, charity, or environmental protection. For registration of a Section 8 Company under the Companies Act, 2013, promoters must submit identity, address, and organizational documents to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
